Dr. Mohammed ALASHI

Dr. Mohammed ALASHI is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance with extensive academic experience. He has delivered courses at the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD levels, focusing on financial and managerial accounting, with an emphasis on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and financial reporting.

He has held leadership roles, including Head of the Accounting Department, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the Islamic university of Gaza, and Deputy Editor of the Journal of Economic and Business Studies (JEBS).

Dr. ALASHI’s research focuses on IFRS, sustainability, and financial reporting, with publications in reputable journals such as the Afro-Asian Journal of Finance and Accounting and Springer’s Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems.

He has extensive consultancy and training experience, including training youth in freelancing, financial analysis, and cloud accounting, as well as providing consultancy and training for municipalities in IPSAS adoption. His professional background in merchandising and real estate further enhances his ability to connect academia with industry practices.
