Dr. Naila Fares earned her Doctorate in Industrial Engineering from the Mohammadia School of Engineering. She subsequently completed a distinguished research fellowship at the Universitat Politècnica de València and later served as a Research Associate at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, where she contributed to internationally recognized projects on digital transformation.
Her work has been published in reputable scientific outlets, including Business Strategy and the Environment. Dr. Fares’s research interests focus on Industry 5.0, the circular economy, and sustainable supply chain management, with particular emphasis on human-centred innovation and resilient value chains.
