Dr. Tao CHEN

Dr Tao CHEN obtained PhD in Finance from the City University of Hong Kong. He was also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (SOA).

Dr CHEN delivered many finance-related courses at various tertiary educational institutes, including corporate finance, investment, and financial planning. His teaching philosophy is to create an enjoyable learning environment in the classroom, where students are able to absorb and assimilate knowledge efficiently and effectively.

Dr CHEN have diverse research interests, covering behavioural finance, corporate finance, and market microstructure. His research was published in premier academic journals, such as Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and British Accounting Review
